Calculation bench / L–05 to L–07

Which amount is which?

Credits bet on a line, total stake, gross prize and net difference answer four different questions. These exact sums use only the invented Specimen L rule sheet.

L–05 / A A A: line credit ≠ total stake

One listed win · no feature
01 / stated

Specimen L stakes 2 credits per active line on 2 lines, at AUD $0.01 per credit. Three A on one active line pay 5 credits per credit bet on that line. Read all L conditions.

02 / arrangement

Top line qualifies

Top A A A; no other award or S trigger
RowReel 1Reel 2Reel 3
TopAAA
MiddleB·A
Bottom·B·

A, B = letter symbols; · = blank symbol. Only top and middle are active.

03 / test

Two different multiplications

Total stake: 2 active lines × 2 credits per line × $0.01 per credit = 4 credits = $0.04.

Top-line award: 5 credits per line-credit × 2 credits on the winning top line = 10 credits. Middle B · A has no listed win.

04 / outcomeOne A award

Gross prize: 10 credits × $0.01 = AUD $0.10.Net difference: $0.10 − $0.04 = +$0.06.

Multiplying 5 by the entire 4-credit stake would be the wrong unit.

L–06 / B B B: a different listed award

One listed win · no feature
01 / stated

In Specimen L, three B on an active line pay 3 credits per credit bet on that line. Each of the two active lines still has 2 credits bet; credit value is AUD $0.01.

02 / arrangement

Middle line qualifies

Only the middle row has three of a listed symbol
RowReel 1Reel 2Reel 3
TopABA
MiddleBBB
Bottom···

A, B = letter symbols; · = blank symbol. Underlined middle cells are on an active line.

03 / test

One B award

Middle B B B qualifies. Top A B A does not. No S occurs. The B award uses 2 credits on the winning middle line, not all 4 staked credits.

04 / outcomeOne B award

Gross prize: 3 × 2 = 6 credits = AUD $0.06.Total stake: 2 × 2 = 4 credits = $0.04.Net difference: $0.06 − $0.04 = +$0.02.

L–07 / No listed win

Zero gross prize · known net difference
01 / stated

Only three A or three B on an active Specimen L line have listed line awards; three S anywhere would trigger an unspecified feature. Two lines are staked, 2 credits each, at AUD $0.01 per credit.

02 / arrangement

Neither active row matches

No qualifying line and no S symbol
RowReel 1Reel 2Reel 3
TopABA
MiddleBAB
Bottom···

A, B = letter symbols; · = blank symbol. Top and middle are active.

03 / test

No listed condition met

Top A B A and middle B A B are not three of the same listed letter. No S occurs, so the unspecified feature is not triggered.

04 / outcomeNo listed win

Gross prize: 0 credits = AUD $0.00.Total stake: 4 credits = $0.04.Net difference: $0.00 − $0.04 = −$0.04.

A red correction pencil and empty ruled audit sheet
Conceptual audit trailThe empty sheet evokes checking units, not an award or payout evidence. All stakes, gross prizes and net differences are calculated in the selectable cases above.

A plus sign in these fabricated examples is not a prediction or an expected return. The result depends entirely on the displayed arrangement and stipulated rule. A triggered feature with an unspecified award cannot be assigned a full net difference; see L–04.
